*According to his FBI file, he was a "bar entertainer" at one point in time. Bar entertainers back then typically sang and danced, so Malcolm might have been able to do both.
*He didn't really talk about it much, but he was a big Shakespeare fan.
*He was courting two(?) women before he met Sister Betty.
*(This one is more of an observation mixed with opinion) He might have done what I call "extreme fasting" because he lost a ton of weight from the time he got out of jail in '52 to maybe 1954(?) probably for the NOI
---
Think of this as an "unknown Malcolm X facts" thread. Post anything you have heard or read that you found interesting please!

Post anything you have heard or read that you found interesting please! Yes, I only knew about his love of Shakespeare from the Alex Haley interview. Its funny because Malcom tried to down play his love of Shakespeare in the Oxford College speech. He mentioned he had only heard of Shakespeare in passing, the speech is on Youtube.lol
I believe Malcom was courting two women, one was Evelyn and the other one was Lucile I think. Fraudakhan told Manning Marable that Malcolm was still in love with Evelyn whom he had dated before joining the NOI. I don't know how true that is coming from Fraudakhan.
Malcolm's eyes I believe were gray/green. However, in different books I've read, some folks who knew him say they were green and some have said blue/green.

I just listened to that speech last night! He tried to pretend he wasn't into Shakespeare twice and every time that "Why You Lyin" song popped into my head. I have to remember to save that speech (it was the hour long debate) because most of the clips floating around YouTube don't include the full thing. And if I can I will try to rip certain parts from the 1972 X documentary because it had some pretty good clips and rare footage that I don't see anywhere else. I'd take anything FarraFLOP says with a huuuge grain of salt, but I will take in mind that he and Malcolm were friends at some time..Who knows. I just posted a new thread with that City Desk interview and even though the footage is really dated, his eyes look green or blue.

His eyes always came off green to me. Blue eyes is a hard gene to pass down.
